Hi there Family!
My name is Geronda Stroman Gillens, and I am honored to serve as an Administrative Intern for the 2025-2026 school year here at Mary Williams Elementary School. With over 18 years of experience in education, I bring a deep passion for student growth, instructional excellence, and community engagement. I hold an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, along with advanced degrees in Early Childhood Education and School Psychology.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching across multiple grade levels—from preschool to third grade—and leading dynamic teams of educators. I’ve developed and implemented curriculum, supported individualized learning through IEPs, and fostered inclusive, engaging classroom environments. My leadership journey has been shaped by roles such as Grade Level Team Lead and participation in the PWCS Teacher Leader Academy.
Outside of school, I’m married to my wonderful husband, Devry, and we are the proud parents of three amazing daughters: Savannah (12), Dallas (11), and Harlem (6). I enjoy traveling with my family and getting lost in a good book. I’m a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and several academic honor societies.
I’m excited to continue growing as a leader and making a positive impact on students, families, and staff in our school community.
