Welcome to the School Counseling Department at Mary Williams Elementary!
Greetings to all Panther Cubs, families, Staff and Faculty! I am so excited to be back with you here at Mary Williams Elementary this year!! Through the use of our comprehensive counseling program it is my goal as a school counselor to help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow. This will be accomplished through teaching classroom guidance lessons, small groups and individual one-on-one counseling.
In 2005 I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University in Business Management. I later pursued a Master’s of Education degree while working in the field of Career Counseling. In 2012 I completed my Master’s of Guidance and Counseling from American Public University in hopes of working for Prince William County Schools as an elementary school guidance counselor. Previously I worked between River Oaks and Sinclair Elementary schools. I’m thrilled to now be here with all of you.
I truly look forward to working with each and every one of you as we continue to take the necessary steps to ensure Mary Williams is a school that is “on the prowl to success!” If there is anything that I can do to help you, feel free to contact me.

Hello Panther Cubs! I am thrilled to be back at Mary Williams working with all of our fantastic students, staff, and families for the 2015-2016 school year! This is my 5th year as a counselor at Mary Williams, and I feel honored to be a part of this school community and anticipate another great year!
As an elementary school counselor my job is to help support students and their families. It is very important to the counselors at Mary Williams to advocate for our students and provide a comprehensive school counseling program. This year students can expect to see me teaching guidance lessons in their classrooms, facilitating small groups during lunch, and providing support on an individual basis.
I earned my Master’s in School Counseling from Virginia Tech in 2010 and my undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in 2008. When I’m not at Mary Williams, I enjoy spending time my family and friends, traveling, reading, cooking, and walking my dogs.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding the counseling program. I look forward to working with you and your children throughout the year. Let’s show some Panther PRIDE!
