Ms. Brown

Greetings to all Panther Cubs, families, Staff and Faculty! Sadly the 2019-2020 school year has come to a close. This year, through the use of our comprehensive counseling program it has been our goal to help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development, ensuring today's students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow. This is normally accomplished through teaching classroom guidance lessons, small groups and individual one-on-one counseling. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to do this with our panther cubs this school year.

Now that this school year has come to a close I regret to inform you that I will be leaving Mary Williams ES. The past 7 years at this school has been a wonderful experience. I have truly enjoyed working with the students at Mary Williams, and I'm very sad that I didn't get to say a proper goodbye with hugs included. I'm transferring schools, but will not be far given I'll still be working in the county.

I know that you all will continue to be in capable hands with Mrs. Myers and the new counselor coming on board! I know they will continue to take the necessary steps to help ensure Mary Williams is a school that is “on the prowl to success!” You are still welcomed to reach out to me if you believe there is something I specifically help you with, or even to just send a note to say farewell. Stay safe and have a great summer!! *virtual hugs

Mrs. Myers

Hello to all Panther Cubs and their families! My name is Mrs. Myers and I am very excited to be returning as your school counselor at Mary Williams Elementary School for my 3rd year! I am looking forward to working with all students through the delivery of  a comprehensive school counseling program by providing individual counseling, small group counseling and classroom counseling lessons on a variety of social/emotional and academic topics.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Colorado in 2011. In 2015, I graduated with a Master's degree in both School Counseling and Community Counseling from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. I have had the pleasure of working with children and their families in multiple settings and I am very eager to work with each of you to help ensure you have a successful school year! Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can do to better assist you or your child in having a wonderful year!
