Mr. Wilson's Marimba Build Update: Mr. Wilson's has built a 3 1/2 Octave Marimba from 2/17/2020 to 3/27/2020. Mr. Wilson is nearly finished building this new Marimba (a melodic percussion instrument). Here is a link to see a brief video performance of: a duet marimba debut of "Heart and Soul" by Mr. Wilson and his son, Isaac Wilson. 24 of 26 Marimba Bars were finished being tuned by Mr. Wilson as of 3-27-2020. JAMMIN' in the Jungle Performs at Garfield High School for the Old Bridge chamber Orchestra Concert 2-23-14

2013-2014 JAMMIN' in the Jungle will begin practice on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at 7:45 a.m.

Our 2013-2014 MWES 5th grade Melodic Percussion Ensemble JAMMIN' in the Jungle will hold our 1st rehearsal on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at 7:45 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. in the Music Room. Please note this is a date change from the original date that was sent home in your application. Mr. Wilson will post members and a congratualtions letter will go home this Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013.

JAMMIN' in the Jungle performs at The Hylton Performance Arts Center 5-1-11

5th grade members of JAMMIN' in the Jungle were invited to perform Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Hylton Performance Arts Center. Check out the below video taken by Mr. C, Chris Carroll. Thanks Mr. C for taking this video of this AWESOME performance. Thanks to Ms. Petko, Mr. and Mrs. Dixon for their assistance in transporting, set up and tear down of the xylophones and Bass Marimba. Also, a thank you to Lisa Zargarpur, Mrs. Z, who played soprano recorder and kept the Bass Marimba together during this performance.
