3.4b Create and solve single step practical problems that involve multiplication and division. (3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 facts in this unit)
3.4c Demonstrate fluency with multiplication facts of 0,1,2,5, and 10.
3.4d Solve multiplication problems where one factor is 99 or less and the second factor is 5 or less. (Ex: 32 X 7)

Animal Adaptations
3.4 The student will investigate and understand that adaptations allow organisms to satisfy life needs and respond to the environment. Key ideas include
- populations may adapt over time;
- adaptations may be behavioral or physical; and
- fossils provide evidence about the types of organisms that lived long ago as well as the nature of their environments.
Social Studies:
Greece and Rome
3.3 The student will explain how the contributions of ancient Greece and Rome have influenced the present world in terms of architecture, government (direct and representative democracy), and sports.
3.5 The student will develop map skills and an understanding of change over time by locating major ancient world cultures on world maps
